Nature of Nozawa Onsen village

Nozawa is surrounded by mountains, and the morning air is particularly clear. Just taking a deep breath seems to cleanse your body from the inside out.
The remnants of the snowmelt still remain, and if you scoop up the water with your hands, you can feel its coolness.
At night, the town has few lights, and the starlight is clearly visible.
